Why guests choose Karaf

  • Cooked over charcoal

Kebabs and grills are finished over live charcoal rather than a gas grill, which is what gives Turkish şiş its char and its smoke.

  • Beachfront tables

Club Vista Mare sits at the entrance to Palm Jumeirah, so the terrace faces open water and the Dubai skyline beyond it.

  • Built for sharing

The menu is designed around mezze and shared grills, including metre-long Adana and Urfa kebabs for a table.

  • Families welcome

There is a dedicated children’s menu, and the terrace has room for pushchairs.

  • Open late, every day

Service runs from 11:00 until 01:00 seven days a week, so late dinners are never a problem.

  • Shisha on the terrace

Shisha is served outdoors, facing the water.

Looking for a Turkish restaurant in Dubai

Turkish food in Dubai covers a lot of ground, from shawarma counters to grill houses to full ocakbaşı restaurants. Karaf by Bahçe belongs to the last group: a kitchen built around a charcoal grill and a stone oven, with a mezze list long enough to make a meal on its own.

That means the things people usually travel for are all here. The kebab list covers the regional styles properly: Adana and Urfa for minced lamb, Beyti for the wrapped version, Ali Nazik over smoked aubergine and yoghurt, and şiş cut from tenderloin. Lahmacun comes in both Antep and the spicier Halep style. Pide is baked to order.

If you are comparing options and searching for the best Turkish restaurant in Dubai, the honest advice is to look at how a kitchen handles the basics rather than at any ranking. Ask whether the mezze are made in-house, whether the grill runs on charcoal, and whether the bread is baked on site. Those three answers separate authentic Turkish food from an approximation of it.
